Spreading Faith Through Music

Justin Barbosa is a worship leader from Whittier, California, whose passion for music and ministry has been a defining part of his life from a young age. His journey began at just five years old when he picked up the drums, captivated by the rhythm and power of worship. At thirteen, when his church was planted, Justin had the opportunity to serve the Lord through playing drums, marking the beginning of his calling to lead worship.

During his high school years, Justin faced struggles and found himself caught up in sin and the ways of the world. Despite the distance he felt from God, the calling to worship remained strong in his heart. Justin’s story is one of falling and getting back up—a story of being the one that Jesus left the ninety-nine for. Even in his brokenness, the Lord continually pursued him, never giving up on His plan for Justin’s life. After experiencing a season of restoration, Justin emerged with a renewed commitment to his ministry, realizing the profound impact that worship could have both on and off the stage.

Today, Justin serves as a worship leader at Faith House Calvary Chapel in Whittier, CA, where he faithfully leads others into God’s presence through music. His heart is especially burdened for souls who feel broken, distant from the Lord, or trapped in sin but unable to confront it. Whether reaching worship leaders, young adults living in the shadows, or anyone struggling to find their identity in Christ, Justin’s desire is to draw people closer to Jesus through worship.

Looking ahead, Justin’s vision is simple yet powerful: to go wherever the Lord sends him. Whether it’s leading worship locally or traveling to new places, his mission remains the same—to share the truth of who Jesus is without shame and to invite others to experience His transformative love through music.
